She has led study abroad programs in Florence, immersing students in the art, culture, and stories of remarkable Tuscans. Passionate about creating meaningful experiences that inspire and transform, Leslie curates retreats that blend self-discovery, connection, and the legacies of women rooted in Tuscany’s rich history.
JoEllen McLean is a psychologist whose radiant energy and empathetic nature inspire everyone around her. Known for her enthusiasm and warmth, her coaching helps participants connect the inspiring lives of Tuscan women to their own personal journeys through individualized coaching and development. With her upbeat spirit and insightful guidance, JoEllen creates an atmosphere of connection, growth, and joy throughout the retreat.
Amy Mitchell is a sunburst of positive energy, bringing her expertise in wellness as a nurse to create a nurturing and seamless retreat experience. With a talent for organization and a charm that keeps even the Italians on schedule, she ensures every detail runs effortlessly. Madison DeChurch is our Marketing Coordinator, an undergraduate student at Northwestern studying psychology, entrepreneurship, and integrated marketing communications. Her current studies include Italian language and culture. With 15 years of experience traveling in Italy, Madison is passionate about global awareness and bringing the vision of the La Luce Vita Leadership Retreat to life. She grew up in Winter Park, Florida, where she developed a keen interest in film, media, and marketing.
